THE ORIGINS
AN ITALIAN PASSION
Our journey began in Sicily in 1982, when Salvatore - a passionate food lover with experience across Italy and England - spent nearly a decade by the side of the "King of Antipasti," the master whose image now features in our logo.
It was from him that Salvatore inherited the deep-rooted passion for crafting artisanal olives and antipasti, a tradition that still lies at the heart of everything we do.

THE ENGLISH DREAM
FROM SICILY TO LONDON
In 1991, Salvatore and Tiziana moved to a suburb of London with a dream: to bring the finest Sicilian specialities to the UK. With passion and determination, they began producing high-quality olives and antipasti - but their inspiration reached even further.

THE BIRTH
OF OUR PESTO
Tiziana has always had a real passion for pesto, perfecting a family recipe from a young age. Inspired by the traditions of Ligurian cuisine, she and Salvatore decided to introduce "Pesto Ligure" into their range, soon followed by their own take on the vibrant "Pesto Siciliano." Today, our collection of pestos – a meeting of Sicilian and Ligurian traditions – is one of the most loved by our customers.

GROWTH
A NEW CHAPTER IN LIGURIA
The growing demand for Sapori D’Italia products led the company to establish itself in Liguria, the homeland of Pesto and Basilico Genovese DOP.
In a modern facility, we partnered with one of the region’s leading growers, ensuring certified quality, full traceability, and access to the finest local basil. The result is an authentic, genuine, and fully traceable pesto.

Our production site is located in the region of Liguria, the homeland of Pesto and Basilico Genovese DOP. Covering almost 3,000m², the facility specialises in the production of fresh Pesto & Paste.
Choosing Liguria allows us direct access to the finest and freshest, Basilico Genovese DOP and ensures complete traceability of our key raw material. Thanks to our proximity to local farmers and producers, we can guarantee exceptional freshness, authenticity, and quality.
